At Garris Entertainment, we've done our best to create a Web site that anticipates and satisfies our customers' needs. With that goal in mind, we've compiled a list of frequently asked questions. If you do not find an answer to your question here, contact us at 254-294-7654 or email@example.com.
Q: What songs / types of music are available?
A: We have a wide variety of music. Please contact us to see if we have the specific style or songs you are looking for. Our library is expanding quickly to fill the needs of our customers and we will attempt to satisfy your needs.
Q: How long is an event?
A: This is decided based on the needs of the customer. The actual times and amount of time will be listed in the contract. We request access to the space a minimum of 45 minutes prior to the event (preferably 1 hour) to setup and a minimum of 45 minutes (preferably 1 hour) after the event to pack and load the equipment.
Q: What if we want extra time?
A: If the DJ does not have anything scheduled after the event and is able to accommodate the request, extra time is available at a rate agreed upon in the contract.
Q: How far in advance should I book my event?
A: We request at least a week notice to ensure we have a DJ available and have time to ensure we have all the songs requested. There is no maximum time and the security deposit is refundable if cancelled 30 days or more from the date of the event.
Q: How much room do you need for your equipment?
A: We request at least a 10’ X 6’ area. If area is an issue, please contact us and we will try to work with you to ensure a successful event with less area used.
Q: Can I request specific songs to be played or not played?
Yes, we request a desired playlist of any specific songs you may wish to hear at least 1 week before the event . We will provide plenty of music, so these are special songs that are wanted. This ensures we can have the song in the library and we will ensure it gets played. Likewise, if there are specific songs you do not wish to hear, please let us know so we can ensure it is not played during your event. We also take requests from your guests while onsite, if the song is in our library.
